Features and enhancements:

1. Design changes.
2. A menu has been added to Athlant Manager (optional).
3. A filter on the project directory structure has been realized in Athlant Manager.
4. Internal project file re-reading changed:

  • an error of project dependencies, which cannot be opened in Delphi/C++ Builder, has been fixed;
  • data modules will be handled first (in big projects links to datasets and image lists are often lost if not opened in advance).
    5. An ability to save an inverted list of selected items on adding them to the source control.
    6. An ability to insert automatical comments into the file header with options handled by the version control systems.
    7. An optional ability to switch automatically to another project in the group on standing to this
       project module in Code Editor (If the developer is working with a group of projects, the editor can contain files from different projects. On switching between files in the editor of previous Athlant versions the version control functions were available only for the current project files).
    8. An ability to start Internet Explorer (or a current browser in the system) with bug-tracking page has been added.
    9. Support of communicative functions of Professional Edition has been integrated into expert itself. Starting from version 3.0 Athlant Server is not necessary anymore.
    10. An option dialog has been improved.
    11. Now Personal Edition has no Custom user menu. This feature is available only in Professional Edition.


    Fixed bugs:

    1. AV in the "Show File History" function. Fixed.
    2. A logical error of automatical addition of files to the source control.
    3. An error when you opened a file in the editor, and this file was not included into the project, the "Add" function was available but did nothing. Fixed.
    4. AV on changing an active project. Fixed.
    5. Errors of Ąthlant button deactivation in the CodeEditor toolbar. Fixed.
    6. Errors of Athlant deactivation in the CodeEditor popup menu. Fixed.
    7. An error of work with a project group. Sometimes the connection did not close on changing the project. Fixed.
    8. Errors of the toolbar size changing on docking. Fixed.
    9. Errors of file status update during the operation "Get" (for CVS-like systems). Fixed.
    10. Errors of getting file names for operations. Sometimes being selected in Athlant Manager, the files names doubled and this caused the interruption of the operation. Fixed.
    11. AV in C++ Builder (execution of operations on the whole project). Fixed.
    12. Errors of handling .BPK files. Fixed.
    13. An error of switching between active projects in the course of application debugging. Fixed.
    14. Problems of file saving before connection to the storage. Fixed.

    This expert looks very nice and integrates with VSS really well. I have not extensively tested it yet, but it did pass a quick "can I work with it" test. (I use it with Visual SourceSafe 6). And what's also important: when I did find a few problems Devrace was able to fix them nearly the same day. >>
