Features and enhancements:

  1. Supports Delphi 2007.
  2.  Now Athlant supports full names of SCC storage providers. Earlier Athlant showed only short provider names in the menu and the "Select connection" dialog, e.g. "SourceSafe".  If two providers with different long names ("Microsoft Visual SourceSafe" and "Microsoft Visual SourceSafe (Internet)") were installed on the same machine, the problem occurred. The providers were shown with the same short name (e.g. "SourceSafe") and Athant did not know which provider to connect to.
  3. Profound compatibility testing of IBM Rational ClearCase version 5 (thanks to Dominique) and 6 (thanks to Dan Gardner) has been done.
  4. Includes all tested enhancements from Athlant Release Candidate 1-3.

Fixed bugs:

  1.  Now Athlant correctly connects to such providers as IBM Rational ClearCase and Perforce.
  2. Numerous bug fixes have been done for correct work with IBM Rational ClearCase in different modes.
  3. Includes all bug fixes from Athlant Release Candidate 1-3.

I was looking for a way to integrate Clearcase with Delphi 7. The first product that I tried was Athlant. It worked extremely well; however, when I purchased the product, I received a newer version that was not compatible with my system. Athlant's customer service department provided me with a workaround until the problem could be diagnosed and resolved. When a new version was released, I was immediately contacted by support to give it a try. The newest version now works and has several nice new features such as auto-adding a header to new or existing files and hot-key configuration to check-out and check-in faster. I am currently the only developer in my company using this product, but I plan on spreading the word to other departments. Devrace has certainly developed an excellent product. >>
