Question: Does TFIBStringField support Unicode fields? It seems that is shouldn't since it uses string properties rather than widestring. I am using InterBase 6.5 with UNICODE_FSS char columns and the TNT library that provides some Unicode enabled dbcontrols.

Answer: Your TpFIBDatabase must have line: lc_ctype=UNICODE_FSS in DBParams.
