  What our users say

I develop and support software for internal use of our company. For solving a problem with circulation of documents we have ordered software to some programmers. All was developed on Delphi and Interbase. We did not have the sources. Moreover, it was a remote development, so that we were getting only finished modules. But on each work stage we were actively contributing our share to the work by giving them recommendations. Using DAP Pro we could get information about the inner structure of the applications and give very accurate and exact recommendations about bug fixing or adding functionality. Only DAP gave us the possibility to communicate with the developers in their professional language. It saved a lot of time and money. Personally, I think, that one cannot do without DAP if he or she takes part in the team-work with other developers.

Vladimir Sinitsyn, the Head developer

After DAP appearance my work became simpler. I always had to return to old projects for changing or completing them, As there are a lot of such projects, I do not remember exactly which forms are saved in which modules. Using DAP I can easily find a necessary form. I need only to run the application, open the necessary dialogue and point to the form title with the DAP pointer. After that I get information about both, the form and the module where it is kept. Saying "it greatly saves my time!" I will even not express a little part of my gratitude. Several times DAP really saved me and it allowed to finish my work in time.

I successfully used DAP while writing a plugin for EMS QuickDesk. After installation in QuickDesk the plugin allows to check spelling in text descriptions of objects. Plugin API given by the developers of QuickDesk did not tell me directly how to get to know whether a user works with text descriptions. And of course I did not have QuickDesk sources so DAP again helped me! Investigating all object editors in QuickDesk I got to know that any text description is edited with the help of a component of the TMemo type, and it is always called DescM. Having such information I only had to check whether DescM is active in my application. If yes, I just needed to run the spell checking! I doubt whether it would be possible to do something like that without DAP Pro!
